Desire Me If You Can [Novel] - Chapter 68
Crazy punk.
Dane sat with his arms crossed, his thighs spread wide, one leg shaking like crazy. Across from him, Grayson Miller sat with his legs together, his eyes sparkling, carefully facing Dane.
After the commotion, Dane had to hit the wall several times to calm down. And it had only been about ten minutes since he had finally calmed down, his hands swollen and bruised.
“Haa.”
Dane closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and slowly opened them. That must have been a fake remote control. He would be in danger if it happened, and he was definitely not the type of person to risk his life and do something so foolish.
He would probably give up after a few days.
Even if he didn’t, he would find an opening. Until then, he would find a way to escape from here, no matter what. There was no other way to make it happen than to buy time.
But there was something he had to know before that.
“What on earth do you want? Are you doing this crazy stuff just to find out my nature?”
“No.”
Unexpectedly, Grayson denied Dane’s guess. When Dane frowned as if to ask, he smiled faintly and said. “To sleep with you.”
“Ha.”
Dane tilted his head back in shock. He briefly looked up at the bright lights on the ceiling, then lowered his gaze again to look at Grayson and slowly got up from the sofa.
“I’ll fuck your ass, but you won’t know if I throw up on your back.”
“No.”
Grayson immediately denied Dane’s words as he unbuckled his belt. When Dane stopped his hands, he added brightly.
“There’s something I have to see. I won’t see it if you fuck me.”
What the hell is this?
“See, what?”
Grayson suddenly narrowed his eyes as he asked with a still frowning face. It was another unexpected reaction. Grayson’s lips slightly rose as he saw Dane frown even more.
“You don’t know.”
“So, what.”
Dane pressed him again, but Grayson just smiled faintly. That expression was so unpleasant that he wanted to punch him, but held back. For now, he had to save his energy. He didn’t know when the opportunity would come…
When he thought about that, something flashed through Dane’s mind. He glared at Grayson with a suspicious look and slowly opened his mouth.
“Do you have any food prepared?”
Grayson blinked with a still smiling face. Dane gritted his teeth fiercely at the unusual reaction.
“Answer me, you fucking punk.”
Grayson scratched one cheek at the ominous ringing sound and then laughed.
“I wonder what to say.”
“Do it moderately.”
Dane slowly raised his fist. Grayson quickly answered the silent pressure that he would crush your walnuts with this.
“There are, a lot.”
The storage shed, designed to be connected directly when the mansion went underground, was right next to the living room. What had looked like a back door the day before was now a space connected to the storage shed. When Grayson opened the door in front of him, Dane’s mouth dropped open at the enormous amount of food that was spread out before his eyes. It seemed like even the storage sheds of a regular unit would be like this. Inside the shed, where everything from simple instant foods to canned goods were displayed, there was also a huge refrigerator. There was also all kinds of processed meats, poultry, and vegetables in airtight containers. How could he have eaten stale bread the day before? Damn, damn, damn!
Dane took a deep breath, holding back the urge to punch the wall again. At this rate, he could probably survive for three years even if the Earth were to end. He tried to imprison his partner, but he ended up building a bunker. As expected, all hyper-alphas are crazy.
Dane nodded, thinking that Ashley Miller must be crazy, just like Grayson.
“Go in.”
“No, you’re trying to imprison me, right?”
Grayson refused immediately, of course. Dane kicked him without saying a word. As Grayson stumbled and was forced into the warehouse, Dane crossed his arms and leaned against the doorframe.
“You’re supposed to prepare food, so just bring it out.”
Grayson scratched his head and asked.
“Uh…… Then what about cooking… …?”
“Of course you should. You want me to lock me up and make me food? Do you really want to die?”
As Dane growled, Grayson turned around with a dead face and started looking around. He seemed to be hesitating and thinking, then picked up a can. Dane watched him silently. After watching Grayson continue to pick up cans for a while, Dane finally spoke.
“Hey.”
Grayson paused and looked back at him. Dane asked with narrowed eyes, suspiciously.
“What are you trying to make, now?”
“Uh… … um.”
Grayson looked down at the can he was holding. It was all chicken breast. He looked up again and smiled faintly. “Protein?”
“Hey.”
Dane finally pushed himself away from the door frame and strode inside, feeling the veins in his temples surging. He put everything back where they were, leaving one behind, and quickly looked through the cupboard, finding canned goods one by one to replace the vegetables and seasonings, and quickly stacking them on Grayson’s arm. Finally, he took a beer out of the fridge, and Dane went out first and looked back at him.
“Come out, idiot.”
Grayson followed his orders and came out of the storage room and stood in the living room, and Dane, who had closed the door behind him, pointed to the kitchen with his chin. This time, he did as he was told, and Dane, leaning against the panel, nodded again.
“Let’s get started.”
Grayson blinked and pointed at himself with his finger. Dane nodded back and forth between the canned goods he had just taken out and Grayson. Only then did Grayson ask in disbelief.
“You want me to? To me? Cook? Really?”
The order of his sentences was messed up. He had clearly said it before, but he clearly didn’t think he was serious. Dane raised his fist without saying a word at Grayson, who clearly showed his confusion. Grayson started opening cans one by one with a gloomy expression. Dane looked at Grayson like that, opened a can of beer, brought it to his mouth, and gulped it down. While following Grayson’s actions with his eyes, something on one side of the kitchen suddenly came into view. He pulled away from the panel, walked briskly over, and picked it up.
“Hey.”
Grayson looked up at the call. Dane held out what he had in his hand and said.
“Put it on.”
Grayson moved his gaze from Dane’s face to his hand. There was an apron full of frills.
“Put it on? This? For me?”
Grayson spoke messily again. Dane nodded his head without saying anything. Grayson, who had accepted it with
a reluctant expression, unexpectedly shrugged and readily put it on his head. When Dane thought it was surprising to see her tie the ribbon behind her back, Grayson suddenly raised his head and smiled wryly.
“I’m wearing this, so let’s do it now.”
“Don’t be a jerk.”
Grayson got annoyed for the first time when Dane swore with a blank face.
“I don’t sleep with someone I’ve slept with once. I only need to sleep with them once, so why do you say no?”
“Let me correct you, I don’t hate sleeping, I hate you.”
“Then let me put my dick in and take it out once.”
“Didn’t I say I don’t like repeating the same thing? Remember that, you nuthead. If you say that again, I’m really not going to let you off.”
Grayson finally shut his mouth when Dane gave him a final warning. Dane went back to his seat to drink his beer, but Grayson said to him.
“You’ll end up sleeping with me.”
When Dane turned around, Grayson was smiling confidently. Dane smiled back.
Then he turned over the can of beer he was drinking and poured it over Grayson’s head.
Like the day before, Grayson lay down in bed and prepared to sleep. Everything was going as expected. If this were to last for a few more days, Dane would eventually give up. No one in the world could endure this kind of situation. He held all the keys, and the victory was so obvious.
Butterfly.
Grayson raised his hand in the air and squeezed it gently.
All I had to do was confirm that.
He closed his eyes, anticipating that day that would soon come. He could faintly smell the scent of that time on
the tip of his nose.
…… It seemed like it.
Huh?
Grayson suddenly woke up. Something felt strange. He didn’t know if it was because he was still half-asleep or if it was some other reason, but he was sure that something was wrong.
Someone is…….
When he realized that, Grayson met the eyes of the man who was standing with his knees up over his body and
looking down at him.
Dane Striker.
“Why are you here……..”
Am I dreaming?
When he opened his mouth in a daze, a sudden pheromone scent suddenly hit him.
…… Heat cycle. Grayson was sure of it when he saw Dane’s flushed face and shoulders heaving with rapid breathing.
Heat cycle had come.
At the same time, his heart began to beat like crazy.
